He is survived by: his wife Nina Grace Roddy; his daughter Kimberly Renea Scruggs; his grandchildren, Dillon Kirby and Katelyn Grace Scruggs; his stepgrandson John Logan Scruggs; his great grandchildren, Noah, Haven Satterfield and Ava Scruggs; and his siblings, Charles Roddy (Betty) and Wanda Smith.
