She is survived by: her children, Phillip Thompson (Casey) and Jennifer; her grandchildren, Ashley Paige Ruffin (Austin) and Justin Haley Thompson; and her siblings, Chuck Carter (Tammy), Jeff Carter, Cecil Carter, Bill Carter (Brenda), Debbie Woodard (Steve), Teresa Blair (Randy), Katie Scruggs (Ronnie) and Brenda Jones (Butch).
