She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Suierveld and Gertrude Hoomans Suierveld; her husband James M. "Jim" Sparks; and her brothers, John and Jan "Jake" Suierveld.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Phillips (Jim) of Crossville, TN, Susan DeFonzo (Wayne) of Mechanicsburg, Joan Sparks of Hartsville, TN and Jim Sparks (Nancy) of Lebanon, TN.; and her grandchildren, Dana Phillips of Knoxville, Matthew of Tennessee, Michael of Tennessee and Daniel Sparks of Tennessee.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home (241 W Main St, Lebanon, TN 37087). A graveside service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Dixon Springs Cemetery (1 Cemetery Rd, Dixon Springs, TN 37057).
