He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Poore and Lula Poore; his wife Ruby Brooks Poore; and his siblings, Joe Poore, Alvis Poore, Beverly Poore, Zelphia Hill, Sudie Churchill and Gladys Ferguson.
He is survived by: his son Troy Ray (Floydeann Poore) of Harrogate, TN; his grandchildren, Adam Poore (Christie), Tiffany Oakes (Seth) of Louisville, TN and Jonathan Poore of Johnson City, TN; his great grandchildren, Ruby Frances Poore and Robert Evan Oakes; his sister Hypes of Nevada; and his siblings-in-law, Lorena Poore and Olen Brooks (Sue). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends and relatives.
