He was predeceased by: his father Louis Daniel; his sister Mary Joan England; and his nephew Micheal Dele Tuttle. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Nichols Daniels (Ginnie Ann); his son Daniel Lee Hayes Cheeks; his mother Delorse Daniels of Harrogate; his sister Elizabeth Yvonne Lambert of Elizabethtown; his niece Amy McGhee of Powder Springs, GA; his nephews, Eric England of Douglasville, GA and John Tuttle of Rogersville, TN; his close friends, C. F. Long, Loyal Howard, Jim Murphy and Howard Baer; and his pets, Smokie and Reesie.
