He was predeceased by: his parents, John Robin Evans and Bama Webb Evans; his former wife Bertha Evans; his daughter Linda Lou Miracle; his wife Gladys Head Evans; and his stepsons, John Head and Don Head.
He is survived by: his children, Jimmy Evans (Brenda), Carson Evans (Nancy), Ruth, Irby and Mary Alice Powell (Buford); his stepchildren, Jan Reese (Dan), Brenda Whitaker (Jim) and Bill Head (Linda); and his granddaughter Julie Iliff (Stan). He is also survived by Several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
