He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Kilgore and Virginia McAfee Kilgore; the mother of his children Karen Riley Kilgore; and his close friends, Coye Silcox and Larry Silcox.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Meyers Kilgore; his mother-in-law Lois Williamson Meyers of Middlesboro, Kentucky; his sisters-in-law, Pamela J. Meyers of Middlesboro and Peggy Benson of Middlesboro, Kentucky; his brothers, Kenny Kilgore (Diane) of Berea, James Killgore (Lucille) of Ponte Verda and John Kilgore of Middlesboro, Kentucky; his children, Daniel Kilgore of Harrogate, Tennessee and Tanja Snodgrass (Robbie) of New Tazewell, Tennessee; his granddaughters, Kristen Ayers (Caleb) of New Tazewell and Kelly Brooks (Zack) of Maynardville, Tennessee; his great grandchildren, Khloe Snodgrass, Colton Ayers, Landon Ayers, Kacen Brooks, Riley Ayers, Ansleigh Faye Brooks and Maddie Ayers; and his close friends, George, Pauline Wilkerson, Grover Jennings and Diana Cole. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, his church family.
The family requests that memorial donations be made to First Christian Church (PO Box 971, Middlesboro, KY 40965) in lieu of flowers.
