He was predeceased by: his father Troy Rupert; and his former wife JoAnn Rodgers Hodge. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Everett Hodge; his son Troy E. Hodge; his stepson David Woody; his grandsons, J. T. Hodge of Chattanooga and Jaxon Woody of Chattanooga; and his brother Troy W. Hodge of Summerville, SC.
