She was predeceased by: her husband Norman T. Gunter, Sr.; her parents, Callent Smith and Rosa Mary Smith; her children, Juanita Lowe, Susan Mistekevic and Larry Gunter; and her sister Judy Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Norman T. Gunter Jr. of Navarre, FL, Terry Ray Gunter of Harrison, Tammy Louise Brock of Cleveland, Elizabeth Kay Gunter of Harrison and Merretta Anne Gunter of Harrison; and her sister Beryl Reed. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
