She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Waters and Maggie Waters; and her siblings, Jim Waters, Marvin Waters and Diane Gates.
She is survived by: her daughter Connie Waters; her siblings, Freddie Waters (Linda) and Gladys Waters; her great-nieces, Miranda and Zoe; and her great-nephew Tucker. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to be made to New Bethel Baptist Church or the American Cancer Society.
