He was predeceased by: his father Neil DeFriese Sr.; his sister Ono Lee Boyd; and his daughter Pamela Kaye Riebe. He is survived by: his wife Janice DeFriese; his children, Kimberly Dyer, Jason DeFriese, Matthew DeFriese and Joshua DeFriese; his mother Susie DeFriese; and his siblings, Leanna Rogers, Dorinda Eldridge (C. L.), Donna Kirby and Bob DeFriese. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren.
