She was predeceased by: her father Clyde Roberts; her husband William Hood, Jr. (Bill); her son William Hood, III (Bill); and her brother Dr. James Ken Roberts. She is survived by: her children, Jim Hood (Jennie) and Janey Brooks. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren; 2 nephews; 3 nieces.
