He was predeceased by: his parents, Eldon Arnold and Irene Pogue Arnold. He is survived by: his wife Etta Mae Arnold; his children, James J. Arnold (Becci), Chris Arnold (Kimberly) and Shanna Arnold; and his grandchildren, Jeff, Jon, Daniel and Kristina. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends.
