He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Patricia Hope Cathey of Manchester Tn; his parents, Chaney M. Penley and William A. Woodard of Keokee; his siblings, Harold E. (Garnetta), Guy (Bea), Victor, Kennie (Sylvia), Robert, Vera Robbins (Bill), Zola, Virginia and Christine Gomez (Ernie) of Taylor Michigan; his children, Wayne Woodard and Angie Howard (Bob) of Harrison Tn; and his grandchildren, Chasity Snider (Corey) of Trion Ga, Brandy Waits (Richard) of Ooltewah Tn, Johnny Woodard (Katie) of Delano, Candy Overby (Chase) of Ooltewah Tn, Shane Howard (Katie) of Lafayette Ga, Bret Howard of Lafayette Ga, Katy Heatherly (Casey) of Ringgold Ga, Chanigail Trotter (Anthony) and Kyle Howard of Harrison Tn. He was also cherished by many other family members including his loving nieces and nephews.
In Lieu of flowers the family has asked for donations to be made in his honor to The Children's Advocacy Center in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
