He was predeceased by: his parents, Buford Genter and Myrtle Genter; his brother David Williams; and his grandson Joshua Owen. He is survived by: his wife Annetta "Annie" Genter; his children, Ray Genter, Jr. (Lisa), Katrina Barton and Tammi Owen (Johnny); his stepson Leslie Williams; and his brother Buford Genter, Jr.. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
