He is survived by: his wife Donna Harris; his daughter Kelly Harris Carpenter (Rocco); his grandchildren, Hailey, Tanner and Parker Carpenter; his great grandchild McKinley Carpenter; his siblings, Ron Wallace (Bonae) and Kathy Morrow (Mike); and his sisters-in-law, Phyllis Murphy (Ron) and Carolyn Davis.

““Eddie and I were friends in High School, and we were neighbors along with Mike (Coon Dog) Regan. I joined the Marine Corps in June of 72. By the time I got back in 1974 he was working and I think engaged, We did get together for a beer from time to time. I left Chattanoga again 1975 and moved Back to California. I kept in touch with him on face book from time to time. He was a fun guy to be with and like to make people laugh. RIP my friend. My condolences to his beautiful family.””
