He was predeceased by: his son Michael "Mikey" Bottomley; and his sister-in-law Charlotte Miller. He is survived by: his wife Linda Bottomley; his children, Danielle Bottomley-Mendez, Briana Bottomley and Chuck Bottomley; his grandchildren, Ian Bottomley, Isabella, Rance Mendez II and Harper Raylynn Ford; and his siblings, Dee Van Eyk (Mark), Debra DeGrave (Doug), Diane Coffey (Glenn) and Doris Shelton (Earl).
