He is survived by: his wife Mary Essary; his children, Charlene Smith (Fred) and Charles Jr. Essary (Debbie); his grandchildren, Jessica Smith, Chase Essary, Riley Essary and Kathryn Daniels (Cody); his great grandchildren, Cora, Flerl and Marie Daniels; and his siblings, Carl T. Essary (Sylvia), Anne Coffman (Dwain) and Rose Cofer (Dennis). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
