She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Lanier and Ella Brown Lanier; the father of her children Clifford Lowrance; her husband Richard Hammontree; her close friend Mac Massey; and her siblings, Ricky Lanier, Arlon Lanier, Pat Decker, Frankie Lanier, Jeanette Land, Rita Vayne and Shiela Rogers.
She is survived by: her children, Joyce Epperson (Garry), Clifford Lowrance (Paula), Sue Mayo (Brian), Larry Lowrance (Terri), Reece Lowrance (Connie) and Connie Key (Alton); her siblings, Eugene Lanier and Linda Moonyhan; and her grandchildren, Bo, Chris, Tina, April, Kimberly and Bryan. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
