She was predeceased by: her husbands, James Landon Simmons Sr. and Edward Gouge; her son Melvin Page; her mother Lydia Branam; her stepfather Dyke Branam; her half-brother Paul Branam; her siblings, Helen Harmon and Bud Buford Plemens; and her daughter-in-law Donna Simmons.
She is survived by: her children, James Landon, Jr. Simmons (Angie), Ronald Simmons, Chuck Simmons (Mary) of Harriman and Sandra Sessoms (Dave) of Hendersonville, TN; her daughter-in-law Glenna Page of Kingston, TN; and her sister Virginia Craighead. She is also survived by 13 Grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren.
