With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Troy Owens Sr. of Harriman, Tennessee, who passed away on April 10, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Delores Owens; his parents, Willard Owens and Lora Ruffner Scarborough; his daughter Vickie Singleton; his daughter-in-law Penny Owens; his granddaughters, Christy Morrison and Kerri Owens; his siblings, Melvin Ray Owens, James A. Owens, Richard Owens and Mary East; and his son-in-law Richard Stubblefield.
He is survived by: his children, Pam Morrison (Steve) of Princeton, Troy Owens Jr. of Harriman, TN, Sharon Pierce (Mark) of Mt. Carmel, Tami Stubblefield of Cleveland, TN and Patricia Owens of Harriman, TN. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and many, many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Sharp Funeral Home (209 Roane St, Oliver Springs, TN 37840). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Anderson Memorial Gardens (640 Oliver Springs Hwy, Clinton, TN 37763).
