He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Margaret Byrd; and his parents, Rev. James Byrd and Ethel Byrd. He is survived by: his son Alan Byrd of White Bluff, TN; his grandchildren, Jennifer Byrd, Kelly Byrd of Louisville, KY, Garrett Byrd of West Memphis, AK and Justin Byrd of Portageville, MO; his sisters, Sharon (Truman Hamby) and Debbie (Ernie Peters); his niece Gail Hamby of Marion, NC; his nephew Darren Hamby; and his family Tony. He is also survived by Several extended family members and a host of dear friends.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to New Mountain View Baptist Church, 381 Mahoney Road, Oliver Springs, TN 37840.
