He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Austin and Alva Austin; and his brother Art Austin. He is survived by: his children, Thomas Kaine Austin (Fernanda Biselli), Ashley Austin Parson (Matt), Abbey Austin-Guadagnoli (Justin) and Carl Hartman Austin; and his grandchildren, Thomas Collins Austin, Eloise Kate Austin, Nola Jaymes Parsons and Isla Jane Guadagnoli.
