He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Clyde Luffman and Betty Long Luffman; his brother Ricky Luffman; and his sister-in-law Joyce Luffman. He is survived by: his sons, Joseph Luffman and Christopher Luffman of Jackson, TN.; his sister Tammy; his brother-in-law John Adams of Kingston, TN.; his brothers, Bryan (Karan Luffman) and Brent (Ashleigh Luffman); and his daughter Mary E. Lynn of Jackson, TN.. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
