He is survived by: his siblings, Thomas "Junior" Hixson, Louise Hixson Balew (Glen) and Barbara Hixson Guinn (Billy); his children, Cathy Hixson Bacon and David Hixson; his granddaughters, Janae Bacon Hendrickson (Brian), Erica Bacon Taylor (Jason), Jordan Hixson Bartlett (Jeremy) and Taylor Hixson; and his great grandchildren, Alexis Taylor, Macy Hendrickson, Emylee Taylor, Jason Taylor, Bryson Hendrickson and Harrison Bartlett. He is also survived by extended family, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
