He is survived by: his daughter Susan (Tommy Sapp); and his grandchildren, Allison Dudley (Jim), Stephen Sapp (Katie), Cooper Pinson (Kate), Amanda Cox (Will), Austen McDonald (Kokeb), Elizabeth McCorkle (Josh), James Stephens (Kelsey) and Rebecca White (Chris). He is also survived by 21 great grandchildren and 2 nephews.
