He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Lloyd West and Anna Laura Lively West; his grandparents, Abraham, Ollie West, Charlie and Rosemary Lively; his brother Randall West; his brother-in-law Reverend Jerry Gouge; his nieces, Vanessa Gouge and Shelena Baker; and his close friends, Rodney Marlow and Bob Picca.
He is survived by: his aunt Julie Lowe; his daughter Ollie Aslinger (Jason Aslinger) of Sevierville, TN; his grandchildren, Sabrina, Breann Aslinger of Sevierville, Sierra Wilson of Coalfield, Thomas, Lukus Aslinger and Dalton Kowalski of Sevierville; his stepdaughters, Dorothy Ervin and Brenda Kowalski; his siblings, Eddie Dean West (Janie) of Harriman, Donnie West (Donna) of Petros, James West (Glena) of Wartburg, Danny West of Coalfield, Roy West of Oliver Springs, Beatrice Gouge of Coalfield, Nella Reynolds of Oliver Springs, Mary Russell (Donald Ray) of Coalfield and Cathy Russell (Eugene) of Clinton; his aunt Rannie Davis of Oliver Springs; his friend Connie Ray; and his cousin Richard Gibson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
