He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Leroy and Mary Isabelle Fickes (Burket). He is survived by: his wife Delores Mae Fickes; his daughters, Deborah Lynn Vasko (Fickes) and Dana Lynn Humphreys (Fickes); and his grandchildren, Mia Grace Humphreys, David Scott "Trey" Humphreys III and Maxwell Cade Humphreys.
