He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Pickell and Elsie Hall Pickell. He is survived by: his wife Jean Mull Pickell; his sons, Richard Travis Pickell (Kristy) of Durham, NC and Wesley Pickell (Ashley) of Durham, NC; his grandchildren, Dacotah, Caleb and Cason; his siblings-in-law, Larry Mull and Gay Lay (Ken); and his nephews, Brent Lay (Rhonda) and Blake Lay (Sally).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation or New Midway Baptist Church.
