Peggy Poland Truxell Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 26, 2025, at the age of 90, Peggy Poland Truxell of Harriman, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roscoe Poland and Ruby Poland; her husband Clayton Ira Truxell; her siblings, Arlan Poland (Lucille) and Wanda Lowery (Leon); and her brother-in-law Cecil Jenkins.
She is survived by: her daughters, Stephanie Dolsen (Terry Gilliam), Lori Thompson (Jeff) and Amanda Futrell (Roger); her stepson Geary Truxell (Connie); her grandchildren, Gena Taylor (Greg), Kristy Manahan (Jacob), Christopher Futrell, Bret Dolsen, Andrew Futrell and Charlotte Thompson; her great grandchildren, Clayton Truxell, Katherine Manahan, Everrett Manahan and Calista Manahan; and her sister Vickie Jenkins (Cecil). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kyker Funeral Homes Our Harriman Chapel (430 Morgan Ave NE, Harriman, TN 37748). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Roane Memorial Gardens (1400 N Gateway Ave, Rockwood, TN 37854).
