She was predeceased by: her parents, Tom Shelton and Josephine Stephens Shelton; and her husband Julian Purdy. She is survived by: her daughters, Kathy Hamilton (Tony) and Judith Ann Bosworth; her grandsons, Aslan Bosworth (Jamie) and Sean Bosworth; her great grandchildren, Mekaylah Bosworth, Peyton Bosworth, Emma Bosworth, Ella Bosworth, Ethan Bosworth and Erik Bosworth; and her cousin Diane Allen. She is also survived by Nine nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:15 PM at the Roane Memorial Gardens (1400 N Gateway Ave, Rockwood, TN 37854).
