He was predeceased by: his aunt Mary Alice Cope; and his uncle Kenneth Cornett. He is survived by: his wife Jackie Yoakum Cornett; his daughters, Sydney Cornett and Lyndsey Cornett; his parents, James "Jim" Cornett and Rosa Lee Cornett; his brother Russell "Rusty" Cornett (Amy); his daughter Carly; his brother Jonathan Cornett (Stacie); his children, Dale, Amber and Crissy; his father-in-law Jimmy "Papaw" Yoakum; and his great-nephew Buck.
