She is survived by: her children, Frances McNew (Ray Desper) of Harriman and Bill McNew of Harriman; her grandchildren, Brandon King and Arington (Brian Musick) of Montana; her great grandchildren, Leah King and Miranda Musick; her daughter Melinda Kelly; and her siblings, David Underwood (Debby), Danny Underwood and Janice Scarbrough (Tommy). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Lavenia's life will be conducted when the mandates due to COVID-19 are lifted.
