She was predeceased by: her father Randal Blalock. She is survived by: her husband James Boyd Ayers; her children, Scarlett Ayers and Jackson Ayers; her mother Shirley Parker Patterson (Lee); her stepmother Brenda Blalock; her stepsiblings, Leigh Ann Fox, Brent and Michael Patterson; and her stepfather Harrell Patterson (Pat).

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Second Baptist Church of Clinton, The American Cancer Society, or a charity of your choice.
