He was predeceased by: his father R. Q. Brackett; and his brother Dwight "Ike" Brackett. He is survived by: his mother Bernice Brackett; and his siblings, Sandy Kerr (Bucky) and Ray Brackett (Sylvia Hoyt Brackett). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and extended family.
