She was predeceased by: her husband Robert "Bobby" Goldberg; her parents, Owen Oliver Broughton and Georgia Grace Mayton Broughton; her brother Sandy Broughton; and her siblings-in-law, Ailene Ferguson, Larry Goldberg, Leroy Goldberg, Bill Ferguson and Kermit "Joe" Reed.
She is survived by: her children, Melanie, David Gettys of Harriman, Dena, Bryan Lawson of Oak Ridge, Kim and Austin Spears of Kingston; her grandchildren, Peter, Emily Gettys of Oliver Springs, Emilee, Jason King of Knoxville, Kayla, Cory Neeson of Oliver Springs, Megan, TJ Seiber of Kingston, Madeline Gettys of Harriman, Victoria Lawson of Oliver Springs, Aaron Spears of Nashville and Ashton Spears of Kingston; her great grandchildren, Essie Mae Gettys, McCoy Michael Gettys and Carter Ray Seiber; her sisters-in-law, Wilma Jean Reed of Trussville and Willadeen Brooks (Bill) of Mt. Juliet; and her caregivers, Mother, Charlotte and April. She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
