She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Howard and Daisy Howard; her stepmother Callie Howard; her husband Ralph Collins; and her son-in-law Gene Thurman.
She is survived by: her grandmother Charlotte Howard; her children, Lynda Collins Thurman of Harriman and Gary Collins (Donna) of Kingston; her grandchildren, Trent Thurman (Francie) of Austin, Todd Thurman (Parri) of Knoxville, Bryant Collins (Stephannie) of Kingston and Brady Collins (Rachel) of Kingston; her great grandchildren, Ben Thurman, Sam Thurman, Kyndal Collins, Kain Collins, Camilla Thurman, Karenna Thurman and Darby Collins; and her cousin Betty Oody.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Riverside Baptist Church.
