He was predeceased by: his parents, George Pearson and Francis Lawson. He is survived by: his brother Robert Richardson; his children, Justin Lawson and Brandi Lawson Prater (Brian Prater); his grandchildren, Jayden, Bria Prater and Jaelyn Lawson; his sisters, Betty Upton, Dorothy Muckle, Vita Cooper and Dove Hill; and his close friend Christine Lawson. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, and other friends.
