It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ellen Sweeney Cook (Harriman, Tennessee), who passed away on March 10, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Sweeney and Nell Sweeney (David Webster Cook) of Harriman; her granddaughter Amanda Shea Cook of Knoxville; and her sister Patsy Ramsey of Newport. She is survived by: her husband David Cook; her son David (Buddy); her daughters-in-law, Anne Cook (Kevin) and Lisa Cook of Knoxville; her grandchildren, Meagan Cook, Logan (Morgan Cook) and Joey Cook (Caroline Gettelfinger); and her siblings, John T. (Wilda Sweeney), Andra (Jack Farmer) and Michael Sweeney.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to a church or charity of choice.
