He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Newby and Pearl Newby; and his siblings, Shirley Pearson and Avery Lee Newby. He is survived by: his daughter Danielle Newby; his sisters, Charlotte Lewallen and Fannie Everhart; his grandsons, Michael, Peyton and Caleb; and his cousin Sherry Lewallen. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and extended family.
