He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde C. Smith Sr. and Margaret Ann McDonald Smith; his grandmother Annabelle Loise Fortenberry; his sister Robin Crawley; and his son Jarrod Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Smith of Harriman, TN.; his sons, Jason Smith of Mississippi, Jamie Smith of Mississippi and Joshua Smith of Mississippi; his stepson Travis Treadway (Ashley) of Kingston, TN; and his sisters, Margaret Elaine Lutz of New Mexico, Clara Cobb of Mississippi and Debbie Cooper of Mississippi.
