He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred and Edd; his son Scott Easter; and his siblings, Jarvis, Roy, Jack, Ray Easter, Ruth Morgan, Evelyn Carter and Mary Young.
He is survived by: his wife Geneva Poland Easter; his children, Karen Easter of Knoxville and Michael Easter (Trish) of Soddy Daisy; his daughter-in-law Kim Easter of Hendersonville; his siblings, Virginia Poland, Martha Gamble, Faye Barger, Agnes Wilkerson and Bobby Easter; and his grandchildren, Kyle Whitehead, Lee Whitehead (Brianna), Daniel Easter (Allison), Molly Elfanbaum (Joe), Emily Easter and Lila Easter. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and extended family.
