He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lawrence Brown and Vina Foster Brown; his wife Sandra Ann King Brown; his sons, Billy Joe Jr. and Scott Brown; his grandson Chris Woods; and his siblings, Betty Brown, Burma Stephens, Janet Medford and Randall Brown.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kimberly Crass (Ronnie) of Oliver Springs and Michelle Christopher (Buddy) of Clinton; his grandchildren, Shannon Treadway (Calvin), Shawn Brown, Scott Brown, II, Tosha Moss (David), Devon Crass (Taleah), Jill Crass, Kayla Rather (Wesley) and Kelsey Aytes (Dustin); his great grandchildren, Candice Woods, Calvary, Kinley, Kaisley Treadway, Azlynn, Arayah Brown, Brady, Kynzee, Kylee Moss, Brecken, Remi Crass, Reese, Tatum Rather, Hadley and Henley "JoJo" Aytes; his brother Tommy Reed Brown (Sharon); his sister-in-law Bonnie Brown; his sisters, Shanda Clark, Brenda Stanchfield, Pat Roaden (Ralph) and Pamela Jane Douglas (Donald); and his close friend Dennis Peters. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members and special friends.
