She was predeceased by: her parents, Mel Shoebotham and Minta Nicely Shoebotham; her husband Harold Dean Brown; her granddaughter Wava Nicole Tipton; and her sister-in-law Wava Brown Shoebotham.
She is survived by: her brother Harry Mel Shoebotham; her children, Dean Brown (Lori), Karen Brown Tipton Jones, Rick Brown (Janet) and Ron Brown (Kathy); and her grandchildren, Brooke Brown (Stacy), Marlana Brown Ward (Todd), Candace Brown Wilson, Kevin Tipton (Regina), Amanda Brown DeBoer (Chad), Jennifer Brown Pickwell (Jeremy), Kerri Brown Shingleton (Tyler), Adam Brown (Brittany) and Megan Brown Blevins (Bobby). She is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
