He was predeceased by: his parents, Basil Maynard and Fannie Alice Human (Clark); his wife Alice; and his siblings, Carl, Mildred, Margie, Earl, Betty, Kenneth, Anna May and Ruby Lea.
He is survived by: his siblings, Mary Helen and Bill; his sons, Basil and Gary; his grandson Christopher; and his caregiver Senior Helpers of Knoxville.
Viewing will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the South Harriman Baptist Church (626 Ruritan Rd, Harriman, TN 37748). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Roane Memorial Gardens (1400 N Gateway Ave, Rockwood, TN 37854).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Roane State Community College golf team, South Harriman Baptist Church or the National Kidney Foundation.
