William Otis Hardy Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 1, 2024, William Otis Hardy of Hampton, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, William Otis shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid William Otis farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Clay Hardy and Gertrude Hart Hardy; and his siblings, Ronald Hardy and Mary Ellen Coke. He is survived by: his wife Josephine Hardy; his children, Charlene Whitehead of Columbus, Georgia, Tammy Lynn Spires of Phenix City, Jennifer Johnson (Jeff) and William Kevin Hardy (Michael Thomas Maranto) of Phenix City; and his brother Donald Hardy (Nancy) of Greensboro. He is also survived by four grandchildren; seven great grandsons.
