He was predeceased by: his parents, Millard Hicks and Cora Oaks Hicks; and his brothers, James and Timothy Hicks. He is survived by: his sister Patsy Miller; his nieces and nephews, Lee Miller, David Hicks, Gretchen Miller and Crystal Culbertson; and his close friend Ciara Ward.
