She is survived by: her husband Terry D. Whitehead; her siblings, James "Tip" Smith, Jackie Paul Smith (Edna) and Lula Belle Street; her mother-in-law Hannah Whitehead; her brothers-in-law, Steve Whitehead and Russ Hodges; her nieces and nephews, Cheryl Ann, Chris, Joe, Jan, Deani, Ned, Jill and Josh; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Kevin, Ben, Brandon, Beth, Jacob, Nicholas, Vanessa, Landon, Weston, Jude, Lacey, Jackson, Hannah, Lauren, Olivia and Lane; her close friends, Sue Loveless, Dorothy and Pat Hopson; and also, Wade, Neal, Kenzie and Emily. She is also survived by children x 28 (nieces and nephews).
She was surrounded at home with her family by her side, after an extended illness of Alzheimer's.
