He was predeceased by: his parents, Coy Hayes Heaton and Lorna Birchfield Heaton. He is survived by: his wife Lisa Heaton; his children, Ronnie Heaton, Jr. (Felicia), Prenthia Buckles (Joseph) and Cassandra Loveday (Joshua); his grandchildren, Catie Beth, Gavin, Mollie, Addilyn, Sadie Mae, Willow and Wrenly; and his siblings, Wanda McCoury (Lee) and Randy Heaton (Gail).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be given in his honor to the Shriner's Hospital for Children or to Siam Baptist Church, which he always referred to as "my home church".
