She was predeceased by: her father Stephen Simpson; her husband Charles E. Pifer; and her brothers, Jon Simpson, Billy Simpson and Robert "Bob" Simpson.
She is survived by: her brother Donald Simpson (Northern Ireland) of Bangor; her nieces and nephews, Donagh Simpson, Steven Simpson and Ann Simpson; her caregivers, Amy Church and Erin Church; and her close friend Pat Miller (Red Hat) of Chuckey, TN. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
